Well Captain I am trying to become creative now. No Volume No Indicator No Price No Identity No Bias Now if you are a real trader (and I believe you are top shelf), you will know instinctively which two of these three has a chance tomorrow. I have posted the charts with candles, as the only source of light to show the way. This is what I see as courageous ocean racing. What is your take on these? No peeping through the spyglass now.

Many thanks Ingot for opening up the Ghost ship for all the lost Souls to speak. I'd especially like to see Ann welcomed into this world. I too love her research skills, she can pull a chart out of a black hole, I don't actually know what that charts mean but I'll continue to look at them and better my foundation in the stock market. Hi Julles - nice to see you again. I'm being a bit of a scamp here, as Captain Chaza asked: What do yo think of my ship design for Tomorrow? The 3 Sails I re-hoisted this afternoon was the OXR ZFX & LHG and Pyramiding the ~5% "In-house shorting" gains from yesterday great tack I think if a trader put his money on any of these three charted above, and managed the trade, it would demonstrate the kind of courage the Captain often speaks of. Well, that's my thoughts on it. I neither confirm nor deny your answer to which stock charts they are. But I will in due course. (They are not too hard really.) I am no expert on reading candle charts, but the first chart shows no commitment by bulls- even over the past 4 trading days, there have been indecisive moves, but seem to favour bullish action. This was confirmed by today's down candle. The second chart shows more bullish commitment, but the bears won the day, though not convincingly. My feeling is that this chart will rebound tomorrow or Monday, as Fridays are not particularly bullish days anyway on average. Particularly in the light of current market uncertainty and volatility - no one wants to hold over the weekends anymore. To my mind the third chart is strongly bearish. The Abandoned Baby pattern (not quite - more an Evening Star) is a reliable bearish set-up. The first two charts I would probably wait another day or two for confirmation, before going long, and the third chart I would enter as a short tomorrow. All my trades would be covered with GSLO's of course, but that's my way. What are your thoughts, Julles? You have a good eye for charting.

Ok, First chart you posted I'd look for a break below the too Long Red Candles clearly demonstrated in the chart. Confirm the movement with your prefered indicators and you've got a short! Honestly today I couldn't pick the turns in the market and I am pretty good at that. So maybe that in it self says something , though I'm at present not sure what. The Second chart you posted Well it looks to me like everyone was saying what! It's tight in it's fall I'd buy tomorrow. The third chart it's getting that triangle formation , the one they say wait till it breaks either way.. They're right no guarantee on either way. So Ivan I hope this helps The Captain holds you in High Esteem. Do unto others as you'd have them do you. Julles

I'm still here, Julles, though you can hear a pin drop in the forum right now. Thanks for your thoughts on those charts. It's a good exercise to have a look from the anonymous view (hard right edge of the screen, and no identification or indicators, price, volume etc.) This might well be my last week chit-chatting on the forum. I am about to get a life!

Good Morning Sea-Cadet-Officers Nuggets and Braveheart Could the first sail be LHG? (Gold spikes up $8 overnight)
Could the second sail be the ZFX (Zinc soars overnight)
Could the third sail be OXR (Copper up 8% 0vernite on the LME)
Wish me luck today? Bon Voyage and Gods speed

Spot on CC. I am sure Julles also picked this, though it was obvious I used your three to illustrate the possibility of sailing with just the chart, not the baggage. I like your P & F charts, but am clueless about their function - don't let me near the wheelhouse with only these charts with which to navigate! When looking at these three stocks, it doesn't take a year 7 education to estimate the trend direction. It would be very difficult to lose money on such fine trends. Now that you are "in" go for it! The charts are ominous though - we badly need a bounce today, or Monday.

Hmmmm ... Bummer! Justice, it would be better if I did not know that! Duhh! In my "save as" label, I put the correct chart, but on the "upload" label, I disguised the name ... not! Well, I thought I did. I called them "Chart 1 ...Chart 2.." etc Back to the desk! That scoundrel CC must be a relative of William Teach - "Blackbeard" to the rest of us! Pass the salt - can't eat egg without it!
