I've seen some programs that try to replicate chart patterns, but they usually don't work too well. It is a subjective area, and really hard to program a computer to recognize. Works perfectly sometimes, but dies for others.

Well I have downloaded the trial version and it's a little ripper. I will need the gratis 30 days use to learn to use it well and it only comes with Forex so it's twice as difficult. But I must say it seems to have a great deal of intuitive reasoning. I'll keep you guys up to date.

Hi Guys. I've tinkered with the program for a little while. On the free trial version not all currency pairs were available to view and that was a bit disconcerting. What I did not like about the program is that as it promised it signalled impending and completed patterns and at times there were far too many of them. I would have liked to try the program with shares instead of FX but this was not available on the freebie. If you have any interest, do try the sample, you may get much more out of it than I did. I think a currency trader would find it much more useful than I did.

That is the whole conundrum with trading. You won't have problems to find patterns. You will have problems turning opportunities into profit.
