Is this fair criticism of the forum? Posted by Zhijue at StumbleUpon.

Largely a reasonable resource covering the art of trading as it were. Discusses a wide range of aspects including price action, trade / money management and indicators (suggests using indicators as a filter / summary only, not as primary signals). Stay away from the site's forum though, in recent times, that has become inundated with hostility, misinformation and other garbage.

Hi Colin,

It's probably fair to say that there are times when feelings are hurt and discussions revolve around sorting issues out that are not market related. In the main though I would suggest that there is a depth of market related discussions that make the IC forums well worth looking at.

I am somewhat astonished that you take that GLIB remark from a nobody and from such an antiquated site as a credible critism/remark

Crikey! I have found it hard to find any post specific to these times on that site

Am I missing something?

I would appreciate if you could direct me to the specific thread you are referring to?

Maybe this guy is not what he seems?

For all we know he could be a Murderer Liar Cheat or even a Child Molester?

Do you ever check out your sources before you quote them?

The comment (from Zhijue) seem to provide a good wrap for the site, and poor wrap of the forum. I'm not sure what qualifications/experience this guy has at assessing web based share forum/s, but you may care to accept or reject the feedback FWIW.

I guess the point is that somebody bothered to post an opinion - to suggest that they could be a "Murderer Liar Cheat or even a Child Molester" is irrational and unneccessary (to say the least)

This aggressive approach may just put others off CC ~ and may contribute to the lack of new poster on this site.

Looks like a nice day out there I am off to enjoy it

I agree with Tryhay: we should not attack the poster but merely reflect as to whether there is any truth in the criticism. If there is, we can discuss what needs to be done. If there is not, we can ignore it and move on.

Colin, I wouldn't be too offended, have you read comments on the courier mail website, absolutely woeful...

Personally, I liken this site to a bbq, we get together and listen to peoples opinions, facts, information etc.

I've been browsing this site for 5 yrs, and still recommend it to friends...
