Hi Colin, Something appears to have changed over the last week or so with the IC website in terms of posting. I have recently found that whilst writing a post the page will refresh without any action on my part and I lose everything that I have put into my post. This has led me to adopt a rather convoluted procedure of now always writing my post in a Word document and then cutting and pasting it into the IC post preparation window where I then add any pictures to the post. I have had a few private emails indicating that it has happened to other IC posters as well. I don't know whether this has started happening due to a change brought about by an automatic Windows update during the last week or two or whether you have made some minor change to your web site setup. Do you have any explanation or tips on how to correct this problem?

Rudy, Forum pages are refreshing after one hour. We will turn this "improvement" off. Regards, Colin

Thanks Colin, I will let you know if the problem continues in spite of this action. It does however sound as though it may be the solution.

Crikey! Admiral Col'n I wouldn't call it an "Improvement" I would call it a "Correction"! LOL! Salute and Gods' speed

Colin : It has been happening, for me, quite often. The result is the post is lost . Another recent problem is that the page freezes when trying to access a thread in the Forum. I don't recall the exact words but one could wait till the cows come home before the connection is completed. I have found that the only solution is to quit IC and start over again. It is only with IC because at times I will have many sites connected and the problem only occurs with IC. I tried reporting it once with connection to Robin. I ended up with been connected to another website - John Maudlin . Thank you Paddy

The refresh has been removed, so you should not experience further lost postings. The freeze may be attributable to the newsletter mailings. The size of the mailing list could be slowing down other functions. We are moving this to a separate mail server. Regards, Colin

Hi Colin, I have not had a repeat of the problem since you removed the automatic refresh option. Thanks Rudy
