I disagree to the banning of Aurthur, as I found his posts humorous and uplifting. This forum will be at a loss without him ... Please reconsider your agreement and my reasons are as follow's He reads a lot He shares his deductions He changes his mind He doesn't solicit followers He just tells all what he's doing He may exaggerate? He may not? He is entertaining He deserves a chance to be part of a community He really does'nt need to explain himself And none of us should have to, take it from me a paid member for 2 years yet an unpaid member for what is it now Colin .... ? A long time Again it disturbes me that we have moderators that don't post their thoughts and yet moderate, how much Don't you pay them to put an atmosphere over the forum? If I cough twice instead of once will the moderators judge me? This is a sad place lately, and it sure isn't due to the fact that the markets gone down and some of us lost money. I love this place and changes will happen, but I am feeling uncomfortable nowaday's , u need control Colin, I do understand that, but you have delegated, I sincerely hope is was wisely Blunt but my thoughts, Julles

Colin I believe you should explain to the Forum why Arthur was banned(or in fact if any one is banned ).If any rules have been breached then it is important that Forum Members are aware how these rules are interpreted by IC management. As far as the fear that Arthur's advice might be construed as investment advice by the gullible - is'nt there a clear escape clause for I.C. under -: "Do not use this forum for investment advice" Confused Vermante N.B.-1 If an explanation has been provided this post is withdrawn N.B.-2 . This post has been repeated under Resurrection Shuffle and King Arthur - Three postings have been primarily for relevance

I don't really care whether inappropriate posters are banned or not. Me, if I think someone is an idiot, weird, selling something I don't want, talking up (or down) a stock or just plain speaking crap... I don't read their posts. Actually, I would prefer they keep up their tirade, because it means they are 'wasting' their time typing their stupid posts and not causing idiocy somewhere else in the world!!!!!!!! Either way, it don't matter.

Thanks for the feedback. I thought that I had made it clear that AG was temporarily suspended pending the decision of the Moderators Panel. The fact that we are still awaiting a final decision indicates that the Panel are considering the matter carefully and have not made a knee-jerk decision. Regards Colin

Julles, according to ASIC guidelines (still in draft at this stage) moderators should not post stock opinions on financial forums -- it would be seen as financial advice and a breach of FSR regulations. Regards, Colin
