Apologies for the crosspost, but after I posted in the current release thread, I realized that my post would become redundant as soon as the next release comes out. So here it is again, just in case... :-)

Robin - one suggestion if I may:

I have a laptop with a nice wide screen, with resolution of 1920x1200, so I have plenty of screen "real estate".

The thing is - I have two toolbars, each quite short in terms of the screen width, but they are stacked one above the other. There seems no way I can drag the lower toolbar and slide it up alongside the top one. There's plenty of room to do that, but although there appears to be the usual Windows-type 'handle' at the left end of each toolbar, it is not click-and-drag.

It would be nice if I could either drag the lower toolbar up alongside the top one, or else somewhere in the options or View menu, specify "Toolbars side by side" or "Stacked" as alternatives for those with smaller screens.

I know it only gives a small extra vertical space, but it just looks a bit silly having the two short toolbars stacked, with long empty spaces at the right end of each one.

Thanks for keeping IC up to date - much appreciated :-)

.

Just wondering if Colin or Robin noticed this post, as no response seen... Sorry if you've seen it and noted it - I realize how busy you are.

The toolbar thing is minor, but would add that extra little bit of polish to the program.

Thanks team :-)

Hi Nightstalker,

I missed your original post - thanks for the reminder.

This suggestion has been made before. We've not yet done anything about it since we do envisage a change to the toolbars to implement toolbar buttons for additional drawing tools.

Once we've implemented the drawing tool changes, we will have a look at implementing this suggestion.

Robin
