Colin. As TMF is your creation, I am curious enough to ask why you haven't included this indicator in your stock screening parameters. Your notes say that TMF respects the zero line and that a crossing of the zero line with a breakout from resistence is a good entry signal. It would be helpful to be able to screen for TMF crosses with breakouts. Better still, screen for stocks in a trading range, boll band squeeze and TMF crossover. Trying to find them before they breakout.

What would be real interesting to screen for is the Darvas box formation (has defined construction rules), then add the TMF indicator looking for a higher low while in the box for a higher probability of a strong breakout and sustained momentum.

Is this divergence ? or a timeframe issue ? Lets see how they turn out.

Peter1, Darvas boxes are on our To Do list, but we are still a long way from achieving this. Regards, Colin

On a related matter, the Stock Screener 'Help' button looks a useful addition to the "toolbox" Colin; together with the 'Related Topics' at the bottom of that help webpage. I am still working on combining the stock screens to output the best breakout candidates, but am finding the scanner results useful fodder for further analysis. Well done people! PS For example thismorning's scan FWIW produced the following in order: SYM, RRT, RRL, AYR, AMU, BDG. It will be interesting to see where they are at in one month's time.
