Seems to be quite an interest in forex here lately. I dabbled in currency trading just over a year ago and was a member of a very very fine online forum called the 'James16 Chart Thread'. It's been a while since I last seriously looked at forex and am after recommended brokers (pros/ccons) as well as reviews of any books/ebooks. Currently I'm 2/3 of the way through the ebook 'Bird Watching In Lion Country' by Dirk Du Toit. Has definitely lived up to the hype and I highly recommend it. A year ago I used InterbankFX as my broker. Standard entry level broker with all the bells and whistles. The trading platform was very easy to use and the spreads were good too (I recall 3 pips for Eur/USD, 4 for most of the rest). Very good customer service as well.

Hi Trumpcard Sorry, I’ve been absent from the IC forum for a while, just noticed your post now. By a strange coincidence, I’m just reading ‘Bird Watching’ myself. Agreed, it’s an excellent read. I'm also familiar with James16; was a paid-up member of the private forum for a couple of months. Some excellent material from people with real experience and integrity, a rare find among today's system sellers. Re broker reviews, please see my post (“hanover”) here: http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?p=1491670#post1491670 [Colin, hope it’s OK to post this link – there’s no potentially competitive charting software being promoted here] Best wishes David
