The one thing that has stopped me from putting at least part of my superannuation into a self managed super fund is the thought of the very substantial fees my accountant used to charge in the days when I ran my own businesses.

Specifically I thought that the compliance auditing fees I've seen bandied about seemed excessive for my plan for a simple fund composed of shares and cash.

Googling "self-managed superannuation" brings up a number of companies advertising what appear to be reasonable fees.

www.superhelp.com.au advertise free setup and $750 PA. www.esuperfund.com.au advertise a cheaper rate but only if you use macquarie for cash and commsec for trading.
www.supereasy.com.au advertise $1095 PA.

Does anybody have any experience with any of these companies or any tales they would like to tell?

Two of them say they're Jesus.
One of them must be wrong.
