Hey I just wanted to know if anyone has read "The Business of Share Trading" by Leon Wilson. Because i'm tossing up whether to get that or Stan Weinstein's book. Or does anyone know of any good books for the more experienced trader?

Hi Merlin, I can help you with half of your question. I feel that the Weinstein book is one of the best I've read. And as it is one that is often refered to on the forum, it might be worth buying. You won't be wasting your money if you do buy it, put it that way. The other book you mentioned I can't comment on as I haven't read it. Hope this helps. 12th Man

Merlin, I have read Weinstein's book from the library...and found it very useful. I also have purchased Leon Wilson's book and found that very helpful. As a newbie I was very impressed with leon's book (so much so that I now subscribe to his newsletter)http://www.wilsontechstats.com/aboutus/aboutus.htm Because it's Australian and a bit more up to date than Weinstein's...but with that said it is a bit more technical and does go indepth with T/A but hey go to his web site and sign up for his free 4 week trial newsletter and see if his style suits you. It's free and I have found it a blessing for a newbie like myself. Cheers BBQ

I have not read Weinstein's book, but one hears a lot about it. I have also not read Leon Wilsons all the way, but have given it a good browse and found a lot that was interesting -- it was just that I did not have the time to give it a complete read. But what I saw was good. As Leon Wilson's is not expensive, why not buy both and read Weinsteins first. regards steve
