_ _ _ _ Hi folks, Some traders have asked me to comment on some texts for technical analysis. Here's some from my own techie library: 3 gems ... Dr Marty ... good grounding for all traders. Phantom's Gift - POP ... simple and very effective advice. Futures Game ... Teweles / Jones ... fine print and may be too heavy for some. Speculative Strategist ... Slayter ... integrates some money management techniques, too. Trading without Fear ... Arms ... making trading less emotional and more mechanical. Introduction to Technical Analysis ... Pring ... with CD, for a a good grounding in basic TA principles. Guide to Charting ... Blair ... simple chart patterns and TA hints. How to Chart your way to Success ... Merill Armstrong ... detailed theory on simple chart patterns ... Aussie markets. Technical Analysis in the Options Market ... Hexton ... good for those already familiar with basic TA. Compleat Day Trader ... Bernstein ... easy-to-read, mostly commonsense information Pattern, Time and Price ... Hyerczyk ... an introduction to Gann, in one book. Japanese Candlestick Charting Techniques ... Nison ... "old testament" in the bible of candlesticks. Beyond Candlesticks ... Nison ... "new testament" - both easy to read and apply. Integrated Technical Analysis ... Copsey ... brings various waves, cycles and indicators together. TA Applications in the Global Currency Markets ... Luca ... an overview of many TA techniques, including Gann. Contrarian Investing ... Gallea / Patalon ... TA and FA can live together in our trading plan. Contrarian Investment Strategies ... Dreman ..... biased towards the fundamentals. Winning in the Futures Market ... Angell ... overview of most elements we encounter, in the markets. Phsychology of Technical Analysis ... Plummer ... introduction to time cycle analysis and crowd behaviour. Fibonacci Applications and Strategies for Traders ... Fischer ... more time analysis and spiral theory. Trading Rules ... Eng ... 57 trading interesting rules, but seems to "get lost", in some places. Reminiscences of Stock Operator ... Lefevre ... a 1923 version of trading life, nothing changes. Popular Delusions and the Madness of the Crowds ... Mackay ... some valuable lessons in here, about crowd behaviour. ----- Patterns of Gann ... Cooley ... Gann mathematics, not for the faint-hearted. Supertiming ... Myles Wilson Walker ... an introduction to Gann's use of astrology in the markets, but misses some critical elements and presentation is poor. Four Dimensional Stock Market Structures & Cycles ... Cowan ... good presentation of planetary cycles, but loses the plot, when it comes to PRACTICAL trading examples. ----- Any and all of Gann's works, particularly "Tunnel thru the Air" ..... ----- My own humble contributions, in the astrotrading package: "Trading Plan ... wozzat?" ... Introduces most of the issues, we all face as traders, including the main theme of how to develop your own trading plan. "Cardinal Astrographs ... easy trading tools !~!" ... and introduction to some NEW astrotrading tools, that go "beyond Gann" help traders hone their market timing skills, by using planetary cycles. Includes some verifiable REAL trades, which show how these astrotools work, in a PRACTICAL trading sense. "ISBA BOOK" ... over 400 pages, written by 12 of the leading financial and business astrologers, worldwide. This package, also has a support forum, for its readers to clarify any queries that may arise. ----- "Gann Signs: Introduction" - studying Gann's astrology. "Gann Signs: Title, Bible and Tetragrams" ... available soon. My Gann Signs series, shows how Gann used the bible codes to hide his astrological messages in his 1927 novel, "Tunnel through the Air". Then, we apply Gann's decoded astrotools to our modern markets, with REAL and current trades, in our readers' support forum. happy trading all yogi P.S. ..... my astrology library is quite extensive, so, we will deal with some of those, at another time.

Hi Yogiinoz, Please forgive me for being personal, but did you used to contribute to Aussie-SPI some years ago under the name of Yogi and give hourly turning points for the SPI. If you did, did you also write a book dealing with short time cycles? If so could you advise me the name of your book and where it can be purchased. At the time, of you writing the book (if it was you ) I lost touch with Aussie SPI for a reason I cant remember, and reading your line above you alude to your books and triggered off this query. I hope you wont mind my query and if it is more than one book. Please let me know of the others. Regards : Brian
