I must be a glutton for punishment. I keep reading these types of books, hoping to read about 'real people'. As I said in another review, all I keep coming up against are interviews with supper wizz kid programers, trading squillions of other people's money. This book is just more of the same, except that it includes some interviews with British traders as well as Yanks. The interview with the cattle farmers widow is a gem ! I have felt that you can make a buck from trading no matter what system you use as long as you work your system and believe in it. This lady proves my point! You have to read this one to believe it !! But, as I said, this book is full of the usual assortment of fund managers, none of whom seem to be risking their own money! As with most turkeys, their is at least one gem. In this one it is the chapter on Mike Battle (Ch 12). He's British, and he's a real character ! I love this bloke. Great story, very honest. If you find this one in Borders, take a little time, and read chapter 12, but don't waist your money on the book ! If I read one more story about some funds manager, I'm going to scream !!!!!!!!!!
