I was wondering if anyone out there knows of a good fundamental data provider that covers half year growth figures (1st half this year compared to first half last year, not just the previous half) and maybe even quarterly data. It would be nice to have a scan feature also so as you can, for example, pull out all stocks showing a half year EPS growth of 10% Thanx Agro

Hi James, I'm not sure if anyone offers this - we do intend introducing fundamentals to our stock screening, but not just yet. Robin

As noted by Capricorn, Commsec and some of the other brokers offer data from the Aspect Financial data base, which does include the useful consensus forecasts. Unfortunately, they don't all offer the full Aspect search engine, which is great for searching on 12-month growth and value criteria as well as 12-month price performance. Aspect do offer a free trial of their full site, but after that you have to pay. However, I found that you can get onto the search engine part of it at http://research.equitycafe.com.au/default.asp then click "Advanced search". Then the company profiles themselves might be available through your broker (e.g. Commsec, or National Online). Perhaps stockdoctor offers the six-month feature? But they are not free! Cheers, g2

on2it, Mostly perspiration.Seaching the web looking for a way to combine technical analysis (price) & fundamental analysis.(profit) I was hoping to apply technical indicators to the price earnings ratio (Price/Profit) Can't seem to find a logical connection but its a work in progress. Graphing price, eps & per is at least educational. Regards, Nomad.
