I get mine from float.com.au, it's still free, although their site implies it's only free while they are "testing".

Hi, I also use Float.com.au for my data and have done for around a year now. I created a program to automatically get a saved list/s of stock data directly from float onto my computer.

I am intending to use ProRealTime and AmiBroker in addition to IC. IC doesn't have a proper scanner but I like the interface and the charts, ProRealTime has a proper scanner and Xetra but lacks the ASX access, AmiBroker has a proper scanner but I don't like the interface much. I am currently downloading historical quotes for all ASX stocks using AmiQuote via 'Yahoo Historical'. The data is stored in .aqh files in C:\Program Files\AmiBroker\AmiQuote\Download\ After tomorrow's close there will be an additional day of data. How do I properly update these data files without pulling the entire history again?

Premium Data. so it's around $350 pa, BUT stocks are sorted into their Indexs . All adjustments covered used the free stuff until around 12mths ago and except for IC would not go back there --- if your going to spend the money on Software you really should have reliable DATA for it to work with --- "rubbish in / rubbish out". It's not until you use a reliable data supplier that you see the dramatic difference it can make -- would be the best $350 pa you will ever spend . Cheers

Anybody notice that the 09/01/2008 data file from float.com.au has a bunch of errors in it? IFM would be one of the stocks affected.

Stock ICC has numerous errors using float.com.au files. The data is missing between 05/10/2008 and 10/01/2008.
