Greetings, The markets sure have been a bit stormy of late. I hope everyone is well regardless. For a bit of background on "small time trader" see this thread: http://forum.incrediblecharts.com/messages/11/1002856.html The system (theory) is like this. I own 1100 shares of SUNW right now. That is near 100% of my account. My stop is at a rather flexible stop loss below a STRONG level of support. The most I could lose is 5% for this particular trade. Why SUNW? I believe it is a good long term investment and has a good chance of doubling by end of the year. I believe this due to my research on technicals, news, fundamentals, market conditions. My plan: SUNW reaches a price that satisfies me (at least +50% within a year) Then SUNW must begin to show signs of weakness/slowdown. For example 90day MA is getting closer to the 200day; Volume is drying on up days, increasing on sell offs; etc. At this point I will sell half of my position in SUNW and invest in into another stock that I have had my eye on for a while. I will also leave my stop-loss on SUNW tighter. Rinse and Repeat with the other stock. The goal is to have many positions open within 5 or 6 years that have been very bullish/bearish over time. Peace and Success, Dutch Danish
