Good afternoon,
This is my first post here and I am very impressed with the knowledge being passed around as well as the generosity of the posters here! I do not actually trade in stocks, but seeing as a chart is a chart is a chart, I figure I would try to contribute as much as possible and spend as much time learning here as I can.
Okay, with the greeting out of the way, I was wondering....I trade forex, and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for what period MA to use in following the market using the Stan Weinstein model.
I see he suggests a 40 day MA for futures, but was wondering if anyone else had any insight to forex specifically...40 day MA seems to make sense, but wanted to see if anyone here had any ideas. Also, the consensus here for the MA to be a weighted MA vs a simple MA...am I correct in this observation?
