I recently decided to join a forum for the sole purpose of sharing in the various experiences that other traders are having. Mostly, I wanted to know if anyone else was having the success that I am. Before now I had no interest in sharing my views until I read comments made by others pertaining to daily returns. In my opinion, if your not increasing your capital investment by at least 20%/day then your doing something wrong. Like maybe spending too much time in forums and not working on both your system and mental attitude. I am not going to ramble on about this as critism of others is a waste of time and completely unproductive. Anyway, my preference is the S&P 500 emini futures as this is the market I designed my system for and discovered later that it is extremely effective in many reasonably liquid, semi-volatile markets. Now I trade it on EUR/USD and GBP/USD pairs with great success. I read some posts that mentioned the ludicrous suggestion that anyone making 10-15%/day is either lying or deluding themselves. Based on their own experiences this may be true but is surely not the case for everyone. I dont stop trading until I have achieved a min of 30% ROI and do this often within the first 40 mins of the US market, sometimes longer but rarely more than 2 hours. I have even had nights where I have doubled my investment. I have a personal best of 335% ROI on the S&P 500, trading all night. Believe it or not I dont care. My bank balance speaks for itself. I use Ninja Trader and utilize 7 charts/market spread over 4x 52" monitors and have designed a unique tool that allows me to place trades within 200milliseconds of the closing of a confirmation candle without the use of a dom or chart trader. This has many advantages. For one it gets me in first and since all my criteria is built into the tool there is no second guessing or hesitation. I can trade both directions simultaneously for hedging and taking advantage of any potential retracements whilst trading with the trend and can continually add to my position all without touching the trading dom. I can even spot a specific signal of which I have 6 thus far, and leave the room after a single mouse click knowing that if the trade confirms I will be entered. How is this possible you may wonder? Well,I am not giving my game away just yet as this is not why I am here. However,it will be available to a limited few via means of a moderated trading room within the next 12 months. I will conclude with a final comment, just for all the sceptics out there yet to master the system and discipline required to make huge consistent daily profits. Though you may encounter the odd bit of sarcasm from the old boys for being bold enough to shake the equities establishment, don't let it put you off. The forum is now mainly staffed by such, and in my view, is running in caretaker mode until the current generation become bored with their own egos, and retire from active discouragement.
You'll see what I mean shortly.
My own journey eventually led me away from this forum for various reasons, but it was the very best thing I ever did for myself. Yet I owe my basic understanding of TA and trading to many of the folk here who have either gone to ground now, or left entirely. I still keep in touch privately with a handful of those who no longer bother to post here.
The fact does remain though, that the site IS still a world leader in resources for traders, and is probably one of the best interactive sites in the world, in the sense that management tries hard to respond to the needs of traders.

Petty jealousy aside, I have taken the trouble to enquire further privately, and I guess only those who trade either Forex or eMinis, Indices and so on would understand what Pistol101 is alluding to.
The attached screen-shots may well be hieroglyphics to our equity-bound myopic tryhards, but I know a few readers will understand the possible here.
It's not Euclidian nor Trachtenbergian to develop a personal simple leading indicator, and Pistol101 has successfully done this. I have access to the trading room, and so far no Nigerians have come at me from the tapestry.
I am disappointed about that. Not often you get something for free.
