Best way to know a trend is near is to determine when the trend followers are hurting the most. The SAR shows the pain. Cheers Laffee

Are you sure that's a chart Lafee? Looks more like a chinese ceremonial dragon to me!

I think I owe the captain an apology. Seems a few chartists have a sense of humour. Am always willing to learn! Hopefully the continuation pattern will drag on and I wouldn't give a shrek for any crocodile tears from the chart gallery.

PSV looks like it is ready to breakout: volume up to double ave & ST MA crossovers occuring, DMI & MACD attractive (if that is possible). Gold chart over last 3 days look +ve ~
however there is some resistance to get through before clear sailing (50 day & 100 Day SMA)-so gold has not broken out but I think PSV has Mark (Message edited by tryhay on September 01, 2006)

Warning ..... astrostuff for gold, ahead: Hi folks, Up front, we will be looking to go long on gold and gold stocks, around 20-23 October 2006. With gold in a relatively flat trading range, since early-July 2006, we can see this lines up with Jupiter going direct, around 05 July 2006. http://futures.tradingcharts.com/chart/GD/86 Will be looking for further flat trading from gold, until 23 October 2006 ... soon after, we may see a dramatic lift in the gold price ..... ??? ====================================== Then, we will be watching for that stellium of planets, around 07 November 2006 ... it will be interesting to see, if traders will push gold to its higher limits (DOW/SnP lower), at this time ... ??? ====================================== For Aussie gold bugs in 2007 ..... a strong XJO expected in February and October 2007, may well be driven by strong gains in gold and other resources ..... ??? happy days yogi =====

Ahoy "Smooth talking" Officer Red Robert Is there a worse metal in Value Betting/Investing to trade than GOLD? Hmm? I would suggest you apologise to my SCO Sweet Princess Ann and beg her for her forgiveness Only then may she send you the answer in a "private" chart with readings based on the Fundamentals and plotted in the Technical Salute and Gods speed
PS 1st mate Officer Spids You could also try but I don't fancy your chances (Message edited by captain_chaza on September 05, 2006)

Captain I am personally not keen on arsenic as a metal. However, one's concubines may admix it with vinegar and chalk to receive even greater compliment. Or, to crank up your computer's speed, toss a bit in with some gallium. Maybe there's a saying about one man's poison I have yet to meat. Only one way to test your mettle!
