Hi All I did not know where to post this so i thought i might try here, apologies if i am in the wrong place. I was hoping to find charts on sugar as a commodity like the kitco site for gold and i thought one of you may have come across them in your travels and be willing to share the information. Thanks in advance for any replies REGARDS wjb

Hi Thommo They certainly did, i am interested in this as i work in the sugar industry, i trade shares but have not tried commodities yet. One of the big commodity houses overseas suggest between 15 to 18 cents coming up due to lack of rainfall in asian countries, reduction in protection in the EEC, the world starting to look more at ethanol as a fuel source, increased consumption in developing countries and some interesting new byproducts ie a type of degradable plastic. You never know we might get back to the glory days of 1981 when it got over .66c a pound Regards wjb

Hi wjb, Yeah the commodities are pretty interesting .. they can move! I follow the ag commodities (mainly wheat, corn, beans and cotton) but only have the nerve to stick my little pinkie in at this stage. Give me 5 years (when i can handle the margin pressure) and i'll have a bit more of a lash. It's just amazing how the big funds move these markets (good to keep an eye on what they're doing I reckon). Check out the volatility in the Dec 05 CBOT corn chart below ... last week was up 10% in 4 sessions .. then down 12% in 5 .... not for the faint hearted!
