Zurich,Geneva,Paris, Amsterdam,Stockholm,London,Vancouver,Toronto,New York, Boston.... Whew! Suppose someone has to do it. Wonder of there's enough left in kitty to keep those two blokes with their shovels building that (mine?) on the QLD border? You reckon they might bung on a silver pour for the next millenium party?

archer interesting to see silver and gold running opposite directions at the same points in time no doubt someone will come up with a reason that said, is the cast now set for gold to follow? my view is that mould took shape last week when POG rose sharply in euro terms and needs only for the USD to falter meanwhile, MMN could come to life on the ASX and finally deliver some returns as their mine starts to take shape POS looking better as the hours pass tonight Bro Hilarius has manned the pews ....... it's all good

There comes a time where the charts have to work out which way they go:
Then, for those wondering what Macmin is worth, the definitive article near term, with a great commentary on upside: http://www.gold-eagle.com/editorials_05/bloom061805.html

well, the above chart was a bit "loose" on the ascending triangles, so this one adds greater definition it does seem that we are destined to another month or so of the "Wiggles" - before we go Dorothy the Dinosaur green again

We have a beautiful symmetrical triangle formation in silver, lagging gold's breakout. Simply geometry tells us that the triangle formation must be broken, and trend is to the upside.

SILVER 'SHORTS' TAKES ON NEW MEANING FOR UK TROOPS Aug 20, 2005 - FMNN by David Bond Silver “shorts” is taking on a whole new meaning for the British Army, and silver longs are grinning. The Associated Press reported Thursday that UK troops now are being issued antimicrobial underpants interwoven with silver thread to suppress odor and infection in the desert combat heat. They are the first undergarments ever issued to British soldiers, who traditionally had to supply their own. British Armed Forces Minister Adam Ingram said the new silver undies, issued in concert with rubber-soled boots designed to withstand temperatures of up to 300 Celsius, wraparound sunglasses, light Kevlar-nylon helmets and combat sandals, would render UK troops “among the best equipped in the world, ready to face environments ranging from desert conditions in Iraq, monsoon conditions in Brunei, to winter in the Balkans.” "Support for the modern serviceman or woman starts from the skin out," Ingram said. Phil Baker, president of the Silver Institute and CEO of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho-based Hecla Mining Co. – a major silver producer with nearly 7 million ounces mined last year – said such new and non-traditional uses of silver account for a growing sector in silver demand. “This is just another example of how silver is the metal whose properties continue to excite and amaze the world,” Baker told FMNN. “This is just the tip of the iceberg.” Worldwide silver demand has nearly doubled over the past 15 years, Baker said. Five years ago, non-traditional and industrial consumption accounted for less than one-third of that demand. Since 2000, that figure has risen to 40 percent, he said. Silver is in increasing demand for a variety of medicinal and health uses as an antibiotic and water purifier. Baker recalled a recent trek with a scientist into snow country. The scientist donned silver-laced long underwear and quipped, “I won’t have to change these for a year.”
