Three rallies have failed to get past the sloping trend line. I was going to suggest a short asap and hang on. Then I noticed that this last rally has gone slightly further than the 61.8% retracement level, but it didn't break the trend line. This indicates that the downward momentum is slowing. Compare this rally with the rally in the prior swing down. The previous rally stopped right at the 61.8% level. It is interesting that I see this so many times. No trade suggestion from me. If the short term downtrend is respected (or the 200D_MA) then this would be a short prospect when the resistance is respected & top up when support fails. CAT may not get to $45 any time soon, but if the swing higher is confirmed to have failed then $66 (and more likely $60) is sure on the cards IMO.
