Colin,

As you know, opportunities can often be found amongst stocks that make strong daily moves (breaching technical break-outs etc.) Would it be possible to include a stock scan that listed the daily per-centage variation. One could then peruse these stocks from highest to lowest moves to assess the underlying chart patterns and decide if the movement is significant or not. It also has the benefit of bring your attention to a possible opportunity that you may have otherwise overlooked.

I have actually been doing this using End-of-Day (and Intra-day) data from Commsec, Excel and a macro. However it would be more convenient if it was incorporated within IC.

An additional element that I would find useful would be to make that analysis available on intra-day prices e.g. comparing the change from yesterday's close to today's 11am price. In that way you can quickly place your attention on shares that are moving and assess whether you want to be involved or not. (I currently do this using the above mentioned approach and find it extremely useful)

Regards
Bryan

Bryan,
Thank you for the feedback. We plan to tackle stock screens when we have completed the upgrade of drawing tools and indicators later this year. I have added your suggestions to our list for investigation.

Regards,
Colin
