The ability to save custom stock scans. Maybe implemented with the future stock scans screens update?

I still reckon saving multiple stock scans is a good idea. Would save time re-setting the screens for other criteria. Have a drop down list with 5 or so saved screen setups. BETTER FILTER INPUTS: ***Would be nice to have a more flexible inputs for screening; like having a screen for a (MACD) Main turning up to the Signal line from below (0), where the volume is (2)x (>) the average (10) day volume, or volume is greater than 10d EMA etc. Brackets () user selectable input for value. It could be applied to any of the basic indicators, like stochastic, Moving average combos etc. Thus allowing for the screening of very specific events at specific cycles in a stock.

Saving multiple scans is on our list.
- MACD turning up would be the same as MACD histogram crossing zero.
- Volume would be a Volume Spike. Would it make much difference if the Volume MA was longer than 10 days?

The MACD Histogram would in fact be rising to the zero crossover from its lowest points. Whereas a MACD main crossing the signal would be the zero of the histogram? which is later in the cycle and a specific point, however the rising term allows for broader duration than a specific cross point does. For the Volume spike >150% is specific, so allowing a user setting would allow Volume EMA (10) for Volume above(50%), or in fact just >Volume+EMA...to suite the user search interest. On a chart I use a Volume+EMA(10) for the first break of volume when a close > than open occures above EMA when the MACD is rising to the Signal Below zero. Would be nice to be able to do flexible screens for these volume days in a MACD or indicator cycle etc. (Message edited by sPdFgH on February 21, 2008) (Message edited by sPdFgH on February 21, 2008) (Message edited by sPdFgH on February 21, 2008)
