Search results show this suggestion has been made before, but it seems worth repeating. I do a lot of trendline charting and the ability to easily generate a line line parallel to one that's already drawn would be most useful. PS I love this product. When you get intraday data I'll love it even more!

Thanks Rod, This is on our list. We just have to crunch through a few other priorities before we can get to it. Regards, Colin

Thank you to Macca888 for this useful suggestion: G'day Colin Parallel lines can be currently drawn with the "Add Trend Channel" toolbar icon. Once drawn on either an uptrend or downtrend using either "Closing Price" or "Highs and Lows" either lines of the channel can be moved by using the finger pointer on any point along either line other than the extremities and it will remain parallel to the other. In fact, both lines can be moved to any position on the chart and they will remain parallel. Double clicking on either one or both lines will remove them. Hope this helps Macca888

Thanks to both Colin and Macca888. In my experience, however, I will note that the "Add Trend Channel" option is not always so convenient to use for several reasons: a) in attempting to autofit, it sometimes either rejects the particular way I want to draw a line, or completely redraws both parallels in an unrelated way, b) there's no way to easily make more than one parallel line at a time, and c) it requires the preconceived idea of creating a parallel (often I'm experimenting with a trendline and only decide afterward that I want to examine parallels). What's really needed is the ability to click on a line with a control key held down to create a parallel duplicate as many times as necessary. Anyway, this is only a minor suggestion and it's not a big deal to manually draw parallels as needed. Just thought I'd ask .
