How about; middle mouse button for scroll forward/backwards (horizontally) through charts. I mention this because I am continually hitting the middle mouse button and loosing the chart I'm working in. It occurred to me that the middle mouse scroll button would be more appropriately assigned to the chart scroll functionality of IC as an extension of the standard windows scroll (vertically) in programs.

Double-click the mouse-wheel button to switch off (when no stock screen active).

How about the scroll horizontal on charts? an extension of the zoom function.

great suggestion, I have the same problem as I use CAD software all day long where the wheel is used for zoom in and out. I think it would be a great improvement to zoom in and out of the charts by simply changing the TimePeriod by using the mouse wheel. Regards Juergen

Ahh! thanks, exactly, cad jokey here also, AutoCAD has the wheel scroll zoom, but I would like to see the time line scroll with it in IC.

ok then why not stick to the CAD programs standard and use the wheel to zoom in and out (TimePeriod) and pressing the wheel down to invoke the pan function to move the chart to the left or right.

Yeh that works for me. Pan from a mouse wheel double click would be good, although it's additional programing as apposed to current routine function switching around. Something needs to be done, I continually fumble around IC when switching from other charting & CAD applications.

We're already using the scroll-wheel to scroll watchlists. It is always dangerous to change the interface when users are already accustomed to the old features. Regards, Colin
