Hey jr, remember that book launch I told you I was going to, the time before last when you was down here? Well I bought the book "Collins Street Whores" by Peter Ralph. It's the first bit of fiction I will have read for years. It's about stockbrokers.

Talking about the stockmarket, I reckon those tellie producers/writers should rework the facts around some of them swindling %^&* ing b.....ds who have graced the pages of the business papers, over the last few years and make a series out of it. You wonder what kind of fathers one or two of these blokes had. Did they lead by example or just show them how to get away with it? Wouldn't know myself, but it just makes you wonder sometimes, it really does.

I am looking at being up your way round mid October. Got to see a man about a few dogs, no pun intended mate, as well as some other odds and SODS.

Thinking you might like to choose one of them classy bistro places where the salads are crisp, the wine is cold, the coffee is strong and the cakes come on huge plates, dusted with icing sugar and swirled berry coulis. Thought we might invite a charming third party to join us, if that's OK with you jr. Don't do no publishing out loud of times or places but. We can organize it through other channels.

Later.....

'Struth mate that reaction came straight out of the blue.
Thought you might have liked to meet my long suffering PA and shout her a lunch with me. Still if coulis is going to do this to you...... well we could always go to the local Hari Krishna vegetarian, if that is more to your taste.
I never did try to qualify in Parthenons, in fact I reckon the only time I came out ahead was in the sack race!!
Yeah pal I reckon you been spinning a few discs lately as well. How about recommending one of your nice choones to hum to.

i decline now on the grounds of being too Dubious to meet your wife,Wombat.
Imagine Wombie on the tales i might tell,
just keep believing i couldn't know THAT!!
What would we talk about?[?]

Now mate, I reckon you been doing just a touch too much code with HC. The PA does the bookwork/sorry in a meeting/just left. Where as if it was the MRS, now there is a different kettle of onions. It would be...sit yourself down, may I get you a drink, dinner won't be long, would you care for a little bit of a cheese platter to start with. If you eat the MRS cooking instead of one of them Bistros, you're less likely to get a belly ache.

I honestly can't ever remember inviting the MRS for lunch. Nah never mate. I prefer eating with me mates. Have to keep in sweet with the PA she might start giving me a hard time, the MRS knows better than that. She knows to keep the mouth shut and the mood friendly. Won't stand for it any other way.

Anyways, no worries if you're a bit flat out at the moment jr, invite's always open if I'm up your way. Maybe you're right, a third person might just cramp our conversation.

over and out.......

Having a P.A.,you Wombat?Fraid that makes it you who are d'Dubious one,i can't lunch with.
lilydale area wombat,near you?
You know about restaurants wombo, how about motels for julles[see General]DON'T THINK "THAT",wombie.
i think you'd have to watch out on a harvey bay motel buy now,cos the whales are gone, you'd be looking at the Down Season as a beginning.Kinda like buying an ice-cream run in April,if ya catch d'drift.

Don't do bonds now jr, mate. Did that as a kid in my first job [musical instrument/record packer].

If me memory serves me correctly, I was talking about Pooled Development Funds. As a quick recap, they are known as 'patient capital' investment vehicles, any profits from them are tax free. The down side mate, as you probably know 'cos you got the smarts, is if you lose on them they can't be used as a tax deduction. So money down the drain...total loss.

Last time I mentioned them I was asked for a list of them. I haven't been watching all that closely recently so there might have been the odd one I have missed. I like to know them so I don't accidentally trade them and do my dough.

In case anyone is interested.....
AIY...BTC...FWF...JAM...LSG...SPD...CID...POH...MCA...

AFQ Advanced Funds Management was supposed to list about 6/8/04 It still hasn't listed to date.

ACR Acrux is a health care equip/serv. Skin drug delivery
also Pooled Developement Fund status. That listed at the end of September '04. Didn't bother to check listing price. Not that interested.

Saw advice you gave Julles on motel purchasing, top stuff.
What I know about motels is just as an end user, looks like too much hard work, for not much reward. The commitment is constant and the hours are real long.

jr,jr,let this be a lesson for ya mate.
I guess I been too preoccupied with the opposite gender lately, you know, not taking enough notice of the goings on around the place.

Regarding the list above, scratch MCA they did a morph/name change, CYT is their new code, called Cytopia now NOT Medica.

Any excitement in yer life lately mate?

Eyes everywhere
