KIA is too small cap to qualify as a Fallen Angel.

Perhaps more appropriate is Crushed Cherub.

Back later to dissect.

KIA could prove interesting over the coming weeks.Knight's is in the Insolvency business.Due to the Oz economy being so fabulous, clients are thin on the ground so KIA made a $3mil loss and ceased dividend pays.

In black humour terms,Knights has ramped its business by turning all its shareholders insolvent! At this point virtually no seller is making a profit just trading on who wants/has to take a loss today.

Now the shareholders have been loyal.Of total shares on issue[61 mil] only 20 mil turned over year ended 31/12/04.All 61 mil are bleeding red ink.A 50%+ loss disaster. You have to realise it all went down in an afternoon after a trading halt.Close of Day stop loss players?you have to feel sympathy, right?Auto Stop players on percentage,i think also were caught but i don't know enough about that, yet.

HC[in another thread] made comment about the ex M.D. being subject of ASIC investigation. When I read the actual ASX bulletin,i had to do so twice.First reading gave impression the Company itself had called down the ASIC hounds but this is NOT the case. The ex-MD has been being investigated for over a year because he brought private clients into the Company.Really ASIC should find something better to do.

When KIA first floated, one of the "Riders" was that Insolvency Companies deal with disgruntled clients who may through malicious intent and seething resentment start vicious whispering campaigns against Bastions of Righteousness[Insolve Co's].I'll be interested in how THEY get in 'n' solve this one!!

Now i wonder if short term moving averages will work a possibility for entry here.

I think you would have to "forget" about those halcyon[good]days of when it was a 50cent+ share, last week, and get your averages set to the brave new world of Knights.
Of course the Past in this case could be defined as a monster OVER HANG.As,at any particular moment, some holder can/will dump on to any respectable Buying Line any number of the issued shares[63 mil].

Remember all holders of KIA are losers if they've held for more than a week. This is a case study on if and when and at what price they'll accept this fact.
In my opinion the low turnover of KIA shares in the last calendar year[see prev post]may signify a reluctance to dump this share in its particular circumstances.

As KIA does good in bad times, perhaps it can be seen as a "defensive" stock.I'm only watching.I hope it doesn't start closing regional australian branches but i wouldn't think ill of it if the new India branch was scrapped.Anyway that's all fundamental,i won't go there at the moment.

Ten trading days since the formation of both gap and a cliff face.Fell from 55 cents to 25 cent[ish;see chart above]
After 10 days one should be able to assume any who do?have pushed their stop loss buttons.
Maybe not, some may be awaiting a rally b4 selling.
KIA yesterday and today has shown a 'Pulse'at least with an 8% rise;it of course has to do 100% to get back to even the Issue price. It remains on my watchlist.

Why?because KIA displays qualities found only in Small Caps.It is tightly held by its Directors. They have to make this Company work or face Professional Disgrace i.e.management is motivated.

You have to be able to appreciate the irony/joke if the only listed accountancy firm went insolvent after 18 months. Those directors ?well they'd have to find another line of work and if you remember Monty Python, today there are no Circus jobs available for even bored Accountants.

Now there are 'Structural problems'specific to the Insolvency profession today.I'll write about them some other time. However for the present i just bring KIA to attention as a POSSIBLE double/tripler in a year, maybe 18mths.

regards,
jr

Bit of action Friday with the Boring ol' Knights.Watching it there appeared to be a Buyer working up the line to 35 cents[little over a week ago 25 cent buy achievable]A 10cent gain?thats 40%.Quite boring, hey, compared to rare earth, say.

Anyhow i suspect
a)the directors, for reasons out lined above, as well as two directors sold 2.5 mil of shares each at 66cents in September.Although this didn't generate a substantial share holder notice for the buyers.[5%=3.15 mil share holding, assuming i'm correct on the 63 mil on issue]There is no conspiracy here ,there just must have been 2 buyers in Sept. They[these buyers] might be a bit peeved on current price and the directors are ploughing a bit back in.It was interesting at least to me,that the sell line didn't get overly swamped though.

b)It may be being seen that the absolute No No that you read about,Doubling Down, may be occuring.
Damned accountants just can't get the maths out of their heads.Like THEY would weigh the odds on say a company with a measly 15 grand in the bank waiting on a $50 mil loan, and think or at least wonder, why not hold out on 'em;send em broke, buy up the assets that you want.
Yes with such cynical views Accountants are dead certs for doin' d'Double Down.
and thats what i think is happening in KIA if anyone has cared to follow it.

Happy Trading,
jr

Not going to be able to get KIA 26.5cent
100k order wont be all filled.
right in d'zone[tull]for the resistance bounce.
Would it get to 36cents plus?
Last week on middling volume for this share, there was a concerted buy up of the Sell line.i think it's called accumulation.no notices came out so d'Assumption is directors nix involved.
there's possibility in Knights KIA.

happy trading
jr
