Found the time to check this out, ann.Basically i don't like it.Great progressive product but i see problems. I think it's in Lessons Galore squawk'n'moo that the Chinese propensity to ignore intellectual property rights is discussed. They[d'chinese]got ripped off in the past and so they see no reason not to go d'payback.Have a real sense of history do the Chinese. Anyway that makes me wary of IMH's factory being set-up there. I don't like these trials/pilots being in Poland,Czeck,Sth Africa and Germany[probably old east]If there is this world-wide market, why these off 'd'beaten track' places. This isn't going to turn into some sort of Ausaid product,i hope.Just given away to save d'planet?CSIRO sceintists can be weird like that. Anyway,IMH is in a Downtrend, currently has to get to 23cents ish to bring it's head above water,so i'm giving IMH a miss.Still time to get in on SOO!! regards, d'jr

Yes jr, I had meant to be back to you before now about IMH. As it isn't a stock which falls into my investment style [recently floated stocks] I hadn't done a close study. Still haven't. Agree that the Chinese payback and lack of business ethics could be a problem. Although, as this product is still in its 'infancy' and requires quality control, which IMH is overseeing, ripping off intellectual property may not be a worthwhile exercise. Plus the product is still to be marketed and a demand created, by demonstrating its effectiveness in controlling blue/green algae in the dams and waterways. The cost of production of Phoslock, if the same factory was set up in Australia would, I understand, be massively more expensive. Having the product in production in China, the ability for the Chinese to undercut the price is vastly reduced from the outset. Plus there is the question of which currency the company deals in [is that about hedging?] and all of that accountancy stuff about making money that I have NO idea about. I imagine the reason they have done trials in those far flung places, is because the waterways may have become shockingly polluted and a demonstration on filthy water is likely to be more demonstrable, than cleaning up cleaner water. Perhaps there is a bit of saving d'planet by the scientist as well....shame on them!! I think I heard somewhere the yanks were really keen on the product and wanted all they could lay there hands on. Don't quote me on that. I gather there is a massively lucrative market in hobby fish tanks, as this stuff keeps the water clean by attracting the gunk to it. Looking at the chart on a T/A approach, it looks like there is a 17c support line sitting there. Who knows, I don't. Anyway, whetevr.....if it doesn't appeal.......... Looks like SOO is having a little sleepy-byes at the moment, a little rest. Shhh don't disturb it!!!! Toodles Ann

Well there just chucking it in sewerage treatment plants and winery ponds at the moment,Ann. My god-daughters new husband is into fish tanks. You can imagine how i told him there'd be no more money til he ditched d'fish but he went all huffy and said i could stick me money where the sun don't shine and i said i wouldn't cos it could get algae bloom! Anyway he's into fish in a tank. Not just any fish,no he's got some from a bottomless lake in Africa and these fish are deep, deep water, salt and have to be pressurised or some damned thing.Like ,Ann,he's got this lab setup to monitor his water and everything has to be just so.I'll ask him about Phoslock next time they ring for my advice on getting bank loans. You may not believe this,Ann,but my financial applications were once described as a "Work of Art" -ifice. IT's TRUE!! ya sure weren't there to check out d'marine life at d'Bottom of d'Harbour,it was pure Go Fish but dat wuz b4 dey invented computers for the common people. SOO stood firm today.you had to pay for it not get in a line to haggle.A good sign,i think.[like aquarian] regards, d'jr ps- supercheap announcement coming tomorrow.hope expectations are met.
