G'day mate, promised a bit of something about HUG, Hugall & Hoile. They are the garden landscaping, water gardens, landscaping, irrigation and assorted complimentary bits and pieces with about 18 outlets over in WA.

Now I hope no-one got real excited for some hot goss on HUG. It is just that I noticed that the Fin Review last Wednesday 16/3 in the 'Smart Investor' section 'Ten Penny' Dreadfuls to look out for.

I thought to my self, well Mr WAM Capital [WAM] will be real pleased to see that 'cos back in 2002 WAM bought 16% of HUG from Wesfarmers after they took over IAMA. Iama was holding HUG at the time. Now I know if you look up HUG it won't say WAM 'cos it is in under Invia custodians. [Get it..... IN VIA!!Ahh cute]. On my reckonings I think they paid about 0.042c for each bit of paper but don't quote me, I could be wrong. I notice in the last HUG annual report Invia is down to 14.09%. Didn't sell any but.....just seems to have dropped in percentage and not numbers. You bein' a bean counter and all would probably understand how that works.

Anyhow all that was leadin' on to something I have been wanting to say for a real long time [ you just gotta love Geoff and his little mates].

WAM...BAM...thank you MAAM for all the tax free JAM !!!!!

Can't say it anymore 'cos he has changed the name of his Pooled Developement Fund from JAM to Mariner Wealth Management Ltd MWM. This is still a Pooled Development Fund. Which as you know mate, the gains are tax free but if you lose, you can't claim it as a tax loss.

Now you have to be careful 'cos there are two other Mariners he has set sail with....

Mariner Financial MFI
Mariner Retirement Solutions MRT.......It used to have the code BYO before it was morphed.

So mate be real careful you don't mix these up.

sick of vti now mate, catcher later
OW

Good enough info, wombat, but what's with the thread title? You looking for an East Melb invite by any chance?Um,i'd take a partner of the female persuasion or at least stick round ann, wombo.
vti,saw ya whack, notice how i got passed over?I'm more respectable than you now OW.ha ha
ya can only sling ya hook and wait for a bite.Isn't that a General rule, wombat?
anyhow got to go,you already know how Invia didn't buy some new issue so that's why their percent dropped.
How about POH,thats up yer alley ain't it OW?
Whatdoyaknow re POH and keep a 'civil'tongue about it,right?
