Here's my twisted ten: 1. Uncertainty regarding sustainability of US consumers continuing to purchase SUVs, fast food and Louis Vuitton merchandise 2. October Madness (this is a proven phenomenon) 3. A celestial misalignment that is creating a rift in 'the force' 4. The Commsec idiot on the Channel 10 late news 5. Flow on effect from shoot-to-kill terrorism legislation; rampers are next on the hit list, you have been warned. 6. Mass capital exodus from equities to horse wagers for the Melbourne Cup 7. Mass capital exodus from equities to women's boutiques for the Melbourne Cup 8. People were moved by ANZ chief economist Saul Eslake's speech on "Poverty in Tasmania" and are donating en masse. 9. The fact that the chief economist of ANZ made a speech on "Poverty in Tasmania" has disturbed the market and caused panic selling and mass hysteria 10. El Bandido: Sol Trujillo By the way, who/what is 42? Cheers, Encephalon

And don't blame it on us FA traders! It's those shifty analysts who slap 'Buy 1's on every company that they coincidently provide institutional banking services to.

Thanks for that Variable, Now why is it that someone hasn't come up with a TA indicator based on 42? We've got Fibonacci's 1.618, and I reckon they'd be able to make 42 work as a valid indicator considering it accounts for the fact the (market) universe doesn't compute.
