Hiya Rederob, ... I have a story to tell ya and I know (I hope) you are listening. Once I had a fight with my brother... I was so mad with him that I told him I would never talk to him again. And if he were to talk to me, he's a dead man! I was that MAD. So we didn't talk for three days. On the 4th day I found out I missed talking to him. But everytime I peeked at him at the corner of my eyes he seemed to be totally oblivious of my presence - that makes it hard for me to break the ice. Damn! He's real stubborn... it took me a whole day to come out with a plan. That night, after he went to sleep I sneaked across the bedroom (we shared a room) and slipped my favorite Batman cartoon under his pillow. I knew he loves that one but I had been keeping it away from him. I went to sleep with a smile on my face that night... looking forward to the next day. When I I woke up the next dat, he was not in his bed and I was running late for school. At the breakfast table, he was there eating his toast - nothing happened! NOTHING HAPPENED! He didn't even blink an eye or look at me or anything! Nothing!.... I was so disappointed! So very very disappointed! There's nothing happened during dinner time... it didn't taste that good for some reason. And no talking. Not a word! The cold war continued! I went to sleep early that night coz I felt really let down... d i s a p p o i n t e d. It was a Saturday the next day. I remembered it quite well. The sun was up. Something was underneath my pillow, I took a look - wow! That was the Superman cartoon I had been begging my brother for quite a while... WOW! I turned to his bed - there lying on his bed was this boy, my brother, reading my Batman cartoon, with a big smile on his face peeking at me from the corner of his eyes... that was one of the best weekend I have had in my life. On that Saturday morning - the cold war ended with two big smiles! No word was spoken except in those smiles - ALL's FORGIVEN! Presently in IC... ALL IS FORGIVEN! There's peace. Again. The birds are singing. Again. The bees are buzzing too. The flowers, they smell good. The sun is shining. All is well, except... ... the Price of Gold sucks! The price of Oil sucks! Why? - coz no one is spruiking for them! - the resident IC commodity/gold/oil spruiker's corner is still waiting for its long term honourable chairman to lead the singalong... the chair has been specially preserved and reserved and repainted with a new coat of gold paint for the chairman's eventual return - he will be given special rights to prattle for as long and as much in "The Good Oil" or in "The Chinese Connection" - if he says Andy Xie sucks - HC's only response will be "Yes! Agreed!" (... but only limit to twice a week, ok?) So... can you come home now? ps: excuse the cow's poor grammar because he is still learning - one day, ONE DAY! ONE FINE DAY! He shall walk on two foot! And that will be the day you'll read perfect English from him...

HC,r2r is a blown-in Brizzo[translation-he moved from WA to Brisbane] As a Brisbaner from September on he's always hot under the collar[It's tropical up here HC,unlike that 'dump' you live in] I've privately been informed that r2r has Air Conditioning[which is typical of blow-ins who aren't adapted to d'HEAT] Me.i just run a fan on myself while at my keyboard and I admit to sending r2r 'inflammatory' private emails from time to time. So HC r2r ain't cranky, peeved or anything like that,he's just VERY BUSY and can't come on the Line at the moment.I don't know what r2r actually Does but he's told me that he's busy at it and I believe it. So even though if I were he,I'd be a bit agitated by the d'AG affair and subsequent personal comments made,r2r is much more 'respectable' than me so he[r2r] has just moved on to Taking Care of Business, like he is NOT sulking.OK? as an aside HC are you a croptaphiliac as well as vegetarian?I've probably spelt that wrong so you'll have no idea what of earth I'm talking about but a hint is Price of Oil and the most famous one I've heard of is Tyrone Power, the 1940's actor. anyway,JAPTJ[just a poor taste joke] cheers, jr
Dig for it.

Yo Dug, You reckon he's responsible for driving up the oil in Australia? I think at a minimum he is one of the major cause of the electricity shortage in Brisbane... right? Aircon the whole day... day and night and night and day! Whoa! I think this 'dump" that I am living in will probably be more suitable for his preference of temperature. ... and here are some old photos to show some charm of the "dump" where I like to hang out
..these blokes - I suspect are migrants from Brisbane - to spend their summer in cooler climate
ps: you got me stumped on this "croptaphiliac" - what the heck is that? pps: R2R is a passionate bloke when come to his glorious oil, gold, silver and copper - he can't just dump his old mates up in that thread and leave them high and dry and opt for someone who is hellbent for self glorification - he can't be that BLIND. Can he?

Morton, ... there's a difference between POO and the sp of the oilers in ASX - the rise in the local oilers are due to rotational play by the local funds (I think); that said, that does not mean they don't share your view that the cold weather will help their speculation. The odds of a cold weather increases as time progresses - all they need is just one or two day of cold snap and they will begin to yell "oil shortage" and start another round of "blackjack on oil". Oil stocks retreat as crude slips to five-month low By Lisa Sanders, MarketWatch Last Update: 4:26 PM ET Nov. 15, 2005 NEW YORK (MarketWatch) - Integrated oils and oil-service stocks gave back gains at Tuesday's close after crude futures ended at a five-month low amid expectations for another build in petroleum and gasoline supplies and the first climb in distillate inventories in eight weeks. Mild weather across the U.S. has pressured energy prices. But forecasts call for below-average temperatures in the Northeast next week...
