The linked article won't see the light of day in mainstream media.
Yet American citizens think it was still the right thing to do in order to combat terrorism: Which, by the way, existed only via Saddam's regime (which pretty well had expunged any capacity for El Qaeda to operate in Iraq and was also secular rather than religious fundamentalist).
I remain more amused by the fact that the US was certain it could restore oil output and ramp it up quickly post war. Failed on both counts, and as the article points out, Iraqis actually have to queue for petrol despite having some of the best oil reserves on the planet!

As an aside, the US is building a new embassy in Baghdad (http://www.usatoday.com/news/world/iraq/2006-04-19-us-embassy_x.htm). But its not employing any Iraqis as it's too dangerous to do so!
