Thought perhaps it would be best to bring Cudeco Ltd to long-term considering it has overstayed its welcome up in the short-term section and future share price will be, to a great extent, determined by the fundamentals more than anything else.
This company, in my opinion, has got huge potential, enough to merit a place on my long-term spec list. I’m looking for intrinsic value to be the dominant driving force behind CDUs share price, the figure of which we shall see surface subject to pending Rocklands Project assay results.
For anyone interested Cudeco has released a short video presentation (approx. 7 mins) and most recent Feb 3, 2007 announcement headed “Las Minerale continues to deliver High Grade Copper & Gold Results.” Both available at their website http://www.cudeco.com.au

I don't know,007.Does this mob ever do things "by d'Book"?Like video presentations instead of some FActs verified by independent scrutiny?JORC for example?
Also that sample in the background seems pretty ordinary.Couldn't they be bothered to wash say a half dozen samples to take pictures of or would that take too long to "Rig" up?
Yeah,I've read how this MD struts around slagging off the Establishment or at least analysts and journalists,but one does that for sometimes nefarious reasons.It smokescreens any doubts,terrifies any opposition -Gee better wait and not ask any probing questions or this clown will compare me to ant's testicles!-

You sound concerned Dug and sure you have good reason to be with all the media focusing on CDU’s violation of JORC. I take it nothing Wayne said in his Sydney Mining Club presentation tickled your fancy? I learnt a bit about Double Oxides history and found it particularly appealing how CRA, now Rio Tinto, had an interest in the site back in the 90s. And, how John Mayne made mention in his 1992 report on the sites deposit that “the layer is widespread and tonnages would be significant…” and how when Rio Tinto refers to a deposit as being of “significant” size, its talking in excess of 100,000,000 tonnes. I’m keeping my ears and eyes open in an effort to find someone who can detest this claim. Wayne McCrea is still holding to his initial estimate of 60 million tonnes at a 2% equivalent (1.6% copper, the balance in gold and cobalt). If correct that would put CDU’s share price within the $20 to $30 range.
Sure this guy doesn’t seem to be doing anything by the book but what are we to expect for a bloke with +30 years in the mining industry and Big Bad John for an idol? Not to mention the frustration he must feel from having to put up with those JORC experts who can’t be bothered to visit the site before cutting resource estimates in half. I'd be pretty upset too if some unknown decided to slash my asset base worth potential billions in half. Or, senior ASX officials who, according to Wayne, won’t talk unless they’ve access to a voice altering device. What’s all that about? There’s no doubt this is a high-risk high-reward spec play that could go either way, but it’s the kind of risky buy you diversify with the safer Reject Shops and Westfield Groups.
Don't get too concerned though Dug. Promise I won't put more than I can afford to lose into it.

im new to this forum and this is my first post. 007 do you still own cdu if so congratulations . your research into cdu is correct . dug i think you owe 007 an apology as results show cdu has a significant resource ( not jorced yet but above 50mill tonnes already )with many more assays to come . also other areas have been found on the lease with significant %% copper gold cobalt since 007 posted . dundee corp recently acquired on mkt a 10% stake.dug i think you also owe wayne macrae an apology .

That's one hell of a time delay you're operating under turbine.These posts were done over 18mths ago!!
So how did it work out?
007 came in at 50 cents.It went up a 100%+ BUT is now 50% down [on 50 cents]
All a matter of one's time frame hey turbine?
I'm not interested in CUO so can't chat to you about it.Take it to Short Term Section and you may get some interest or even enter it in the Weekly Comp if ya reckon it's a Goer.
