Hello All,
Another new one due to list between 12 - 17 Dec 07 is Jatoil (JAT).
They will apparently be in the biodiesel game using Jatropha oil (never heard of it) which comes from a Non-edible bush that can grow in poor soil and is a very high yielding crop.Not sure what they are going to do with this oil though, sell it or use it themselves.
Worth keeping an eye on ......Cheers.
P.S.....Prime Ag = PAG.. 21 Dec. as per ASX.

I kept some LGL as it is still respecting support, but sold some others and have a small position in ABB. I note AWB is up as well ~ the broker told me of some announcement impacting ABB but can not see it on the ASx website (something about the single desk proposed changes). Are you following AWB too?
Are you holding - loooks pretty positive IMO, particularly if the markets brush off the deluge of bad news and decide to bounce through resistance (walk in the park in ncurrent climate ~ see ANZ bounced on profit downgrade & int div reduction.

I see the press reporting news on ABB & AWB thismorning:
AFR Page 22 ~ Grains marketer ABB Grain has completed its acquisition of New Zealand grain trader NZ Grain and Seed (TAG). ABB managing director Michael Iwaniw said the purchase of TAG, one of New Zealand's biggest maize dryers and supplier of seeds and agrichemicals, would benefit ABB's shareholders, suppliers and customers. He said TAG would not be merged into ABB Grain NZ. ABB shares finished the day up A38 cents at A$9.74.
The AGE Page B2 ~ Agribusiness group AWB yesterday upgraded its profit forecast for the half-year to March 31, putting it in the A$45 million to A$52 million range. Managing director Gordon Davis credited the upward revision to increased agricultural activity following recent rains. He said the company's financial services and domestic commodities arms had performed well, but the international commodities division had seen earnings fall. The half-year result will be unveiled on May 21. AWB shares closed 6.4 percent higher at A$3.18.
Not keen to hold more over the weekend but may just buy in AWB & top up ABB early next week
