SOL has only been mentioned in other threads but I have checked it out in the past, but now looks to be worth closer consideration/watching IMO
Boring details:
* Principal Activities: Investment, coal mining, pharmaceutical, telecommunications (switched on management hey!)

* Latest Presentation to Analysts (25/09/2008 ) is full of positive stuff (even if the investment portfolio has reduced in value since the beginning of the year it is still providing an investment return of 34% when compared to the S&P accumulation index of -16% (source the company document).
Daily chart: looks to be forming a bullish pattern building up steam to break out of the all time high later this year (FF div due in november with annual return of 30c)
Has outperformed the XJO recently
Not looking too shabbie here either..
To pedestrian for others?
