Took advantage of tax loss selling and profit taking yesterday to buy a fair bit of TSE yesterday around $2.25 which I thought is good value.

Hi Peterloh It would appear the loss in Melbourne of the train contract has caused the steep losses recently for TSE. I'm still holding all my shares, do you have any reason to be confident other than trying to catch the bottom?

Hi baysider, I tend to agree with you there. The amount is not that hugh as they have so many other projects.I have a look at MCR which have no debts, both these companies came from a sharp decline.I am more incline to think, it is part from profit taking from the rights issue and part from tax loss realisation. TSE also had a very good track record, barring last year of which the company's liquidity hurt them.Although TSE is not the first cap off the rank sector like building material, with their full book of work on hand I am more on the cautiously optimistic side. I have been accumulating TSE just below the $2 mark to $2.60, and yesterday was another opportunity for me to add more. Their balance sheet is stronger now, although the shares are diluted, I see good value at this level. I think the next few months,my selection will really moved as these are cyclical stocks and if there is a right time, I feel this is it.I remembered I did the same with UGL when it was $1 and it was not a popular stock then, I bought their story and did well out of them.TSE's management sold me their story, I am inclined to believe them, so I am with them now, unless they don't justify themselves. If they have too many excuses, I move on too.

The chart on TSE is also looking good. The BBs has tightened and now it continues its NE direction, and has now broken out from its recent high.

Hi Peterloh, I will be seriously looking into buying the stock early next week if the gap is still closed at this weeks end. This is how I see it.

TSE still have a few more bridges to cross,if it is to be called a quality share. It was running head to head with UGL which I also used to own not that long ago. TSE has been doing well of late, but it is still a shadow of itself.I hope the share still have legs.I am sticking with it.

TSE has almost double its SP.Currently I like the prospects of contractors. Others held are AAX, CCD, and MAH a new addition.

Hi Peter, The price hasn't moved much (if anything) since your last posting but today's half year results were announced to the market that appear to suggest that the company is heading in the right direction now!! http://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20100224/pdf/31nwby2k0yftv5.pdf The link is the presentation given by the company. The price is presently up 4.5% which is promising on a poor day (down 75 points). Regards David

David, TSE sure did well today. I took the rest of the profit today too. However I wish holders the best of luck. I shall be getting into TSE again, on the next retracement. I see engineering as the sector to be in currently. TSE has done its job for me as it has double for what I paid for. How I wish my whole portfolio is like that. With Best Wishes, Peter
