Peter,

Your view is equally appreciated here - just to let you know. I guess this makes the market interesting for all of us.

To me, catching the intermediate swing is as important if not more important to ride for the whole journey - past experience is good for recall as lessons, but, when facing the actual grind of the market, I have this overwhelming sense of need to change and adapt to make the time and effort invested count.

To me, riding intermediate swing successfully is the end game.

The downside I am facing is if I am wrong, I stand losing a fair bit of potential gain, this is something I will have to learn to live with. The upside is I can choose my moment to re-enter the market with a new mindset.

survived the morning?i'm sure you did.You had a plan and a position and you followed it.that's as good as it gets,HC.

ps-peter loh before you take off for the weekend-next week there's a kind of Institution"Stoke-take"thingo.Where they shuffle the Options,Close off the books,early for Xmas.
and it's not like the normal one that happens every month,or even quarter;this is a half year one that is kinda to give the Institutional staff a party,holiday perhaps a hefty Bonus.
if you know what i'm talking about,Mr Loh, this event,can you confirm that it is of some significance?and some general chat.
i realise today may not suit you.Let alone not knowing what the Gosh i'm talking about!

happy trading off to watch for dastardly deeds on a friday afternoon.it's happened before,trust me.

I am bored while waiting for the market to show me where its real intention is. So as usual I "rush" to reply.

because I thought every bit of info(texts), thought is as genuine as from HC. If it sounds familiar or plagiarised from some respected journal, then, I am "suspicious" they might have got a copy of my mind imprint... this I am really concerned! :-)

(this bit is my attempt to use humour to gross over the hurt...)

In any case, I can read that you do not wish me to continue expressing my genuine thought, that is - I am expecting the market to correct? Or you genuinely prefer I do some reprint?

Yeah triple witch, bewitch, or lady with the broom. Understand what you are conveying and totally agree with you. One day I will probably get to understand how the instos work. Most will probably cleared their long term positions before going away on leave.

I thought what HC quoted was informative, JR.You get tired of reading the info?

moo's,reprint articles can be found at the beginning of this squawk box thread for a start,i didn't go further but i will if you ask.

There,it was september,he's posted more than daily on such fascinating facts as Florida cyclones,price of oil,what happens in an almanac etc.
if they were d'cow's own thoughts on such weighty,heavy matters i would have been pleased to read them but they're not,every post in THIS case virtually has none of his own work,just "SO'n'SO"says.
I'm not so busy that i don't read the paper every day,watch SBS/ABC news,discuss and ponder world events.I make the comment of my dissatisfaction of coming to Back Pages,seeing that ol'Holy has posted but only finding some superfluous "article".
i don't like that,i try to make my dislike known after time passes and it doesn't stop.
When i make my dislike known,i don't expect IT to stop,expect to be Obeyed.i'm just happy that at least i asked and didn't STEW.
trust me,peter you don't want to know what can happen if i go "polite" and stew.I ,I;well let me just wish you a good weekend.
i apologise for being incomprehensible.

Now I see what you mean. Do you know I have never got "that" message from you? (ok, there is no need to remind HC he is thick!)

To me, those are records of events and my thought/reaction when they happened. I find them useful if I want to track back to what had happened. But I didn't know they bug you this much. Do they really?

I have with me some of the most remarkable write-ups in 2000/2001 when the tech wreck was about to start and the aftermath. Reading them now always give me a sense of deja vu. In many ways I find them useful.

Tell me is there anyway I can continue doing that without bugging you? Are you going to stew on me? :-)

There is no "History",every day should be different but like stay the same,have a consistency.

"cheap tricks",have you read/assimilated this book?OH you should read/think this.Look i just find that false "Intellect",i like/prefer to think my OWN thoughts,i'm not surprised that some one else thought/expressed them 'better'.i just think you have to go your own way.Be in touch,in touch with whatever is HAPPENING

Nicely said. You have expressed your displeasure very well. (I believe I understand half the message only). Let me just say (not advice) - don't go to BIG Picture because that's where all the reprints and "cheap shots" live ok? It is meant for my own consumption and would be useful later on when the time comes.

With regard to the above drivel that took me about one and a half hour written as a response to SW, if you have a problem with that and believe it is not original - TOUGH! And too bad, because I do take pride in my thought and my own assessment. (now I am not being angry here, I am just expressing my feeling on a Saturday morning and I wish I can write like you, full of humility, grace and highly intellectual... Some day!)

Btw, have you ever reread what you have written in Backpage? Have you ever spare a thought on what others think of your "pieces of writings that in your eyes are of such high intellectual content"? Do you want to know?

Drivel! That's why this world is so interesting - what you consider as highly intellectual stuffs come across to be drivel to me; like wise, what I thought was my good hard work and clear thinking comes across as drivel to you. Now we are even! :-)

Meanwhile I will continue providing my drivel with chart in the Paddock until such time I feel the exercise has become too unpleasant then I shall move on because the market is tough enough for me at the moment.
