Nice series of higher highs and higher lows on the monthly line chart.
Does chipboard count when you go 'touch wood' chance

Suemac, you mean there's still wood in a wood ? Can't twist my back so don't play golf, it's an old war wound. My back had a private war with a heavy object. Result: Heavy object 1 Back 0 Regards chance

Chance, it depends on how old the clubs are whether they're made of wood, aluminium or some other material. I think we have to speak metaphorically these days when we say, "Touch wood"!

With such a steep climb recently I'm putting a tight stop on TNE. Around .69 and see what happens.Sooner or later the high risers fall over. Eugenio

One for a trend trade maybe, is in the IT sector (XIJ). Bounced off the 50% Fibonacci level as defined by an uptrend started early 2003. The current uptrend line has been defined by two bounces providing a reasonable level of confidence. The 14 day RSI is looking OK. GMMA is looking good with the longer term group starting to seperate showing good support. General trend for OBV is also positive. Has support at 60, expect resistance 62-65.

Picked up TNE on the current retracement(?). Support now at 0.55. Will see what happens next week, whether this is a retracement or a trend change. The IT scene looks healthy at the moment.

Hi Magneto, We probably swapped parcels - I bailed yesterday. In the scheme of things it looks a little more than a normal pull back to me. Not something I wanted to see this early in the trend. I hope, for your sake, that I'm wrong! Cheers, Paul.

Appears to be a bit more than a 'pull back'. Sudden turn down in sort term GMMA and the 14 period RSI are not good signs. Lack of news to justify the price fall not good also.

If we take the weekly MACD as a "leading indicator" the next 3 to 5 days will tell. Expect to see a bounce and resistance with a short term 'ascending triangle' forming. The resumption of the uptrend will be confirmed by a breakout of the 'ascending triangle'.
