Good, now that I got your attention, let's talk about your education... I know some or many of the people have been talking/discussing/arguing/squabbling for months and years in this forum on TA/FA, etc. There are goons that claim volume is not relevant or important, and then there are others that say FA is crap... :-)

Ok, they can have their say and hold their view. As a newbie/oldbie trader/investor and whatever, you just need to tell yourself what's good for you and then you ignore these riff-raffs coz you know sometimes they don't talk through the right opening. What's bad for them need not necessary be bad for you, or vice versa. If you don't believe me, go tell a smoker stop smoking and you will find out. See what I mean?

We need to have different view so we can trade against each other. If they are right, they take our money. If we are right, we take their money. Fair and square.

Anyway, back to more "serious" discussion...

This was what I said yesterday. Check it out for context.

Today we will steal a look at XAO and its trend...

XAO Daily
xao

1) there are two short/medium trend lines - #1 and #2. You can see the shorter trend line #1 has been "broken", can't you? That's a 3 month trend. If in the next two to three days the sell down continues, we can quite safely "assume" the trend is dead, RIP,... and amen!

2) if trend #2 were to be broken too, then, you are looking at a 6-7 month trend getting killed - what'd your assumption be? Does that mean the "trend is bent"?

3) what would you do? Of course, there's always a possibility the trend will recover, if that's the case, what'd you do?

4) over to you... start thinking.

Cheers.
