Hello Keith I am torn between two views :- (1) The strong cross over of the short term green averages above the red long term averages may still have some way to go in the up direction (2) After two weeks of predominantly green candles and a large drop in the USA on Friday we may be due for a retracement How do you measure your seasonal turns? With considerable interest in your message Hilarius

Hi Hilarius The correction from 8 Sep to 23 Sep 2007 could be a strong downturn. I just wait to buy those in the ASX 100. Anyway this information was from Asia and I am not 100%sure about its accuracy. Best regards K S

Keith If you could be a little more specific about the source of the calculation and how the calculation is done it would be helpful I don't disagree with the likelihood of another downward leg by the market A key point for me is whether the next low forms above or below the mid August low Cheers, Hilarius

Hilarius What I know that they used a theory similar to W D Gann's about the seasonal market change and they never mentioned the calculation. I just wonder whether its a guarded secret. Regards K S

Hilarius Thanks for the update. Looks like I am making a little progress. I'm sick of being at the pointy end of that graph. I intend to leave my selections the same until the end of the year to see how they go without all the chopping and changing that some members do. I realize I could probably get better results that way. But as I'm impulsive by nature and would have sold already in the real world this will be a good experiment without risking any capital.

5 out of 18 have a positive outcome. 27% Looks like cash is the winner on average atmo. Where is Mr Cash anyhow, he is paying good short term rates now, but no guarantee you get the cash back , right !!! Lafee's index trading is the only portfolio i envy at the moment, just wish they would stop reversing and dropping me off before they sail a hundred points the other way, if i didn't know better, i would swear they are watching me!!! If i take the stop loss it reverses, if i ignore the stop it just keeps going until the pain level is unbearable i have to stop out. Incredibly Unbelievable i Know.
