Heheh - Rob. Now you've gone and got yourself p**sed just because you've moved up a position. Next thing you know you'll be making money! Just kidding

Nightstalker I am shocked that those dedicated high bank officials are not publicly offering their advice to online users Surely the boards of banks are dedicated to honesty and integrity in their dealing with us mortals? Have you considered offering them a trans-rectal tonsillectomy if they don't give the customers the benefit of their wisdom? Hilarius (always a bit more mischievous before bed-time)

You p**sed as well Bro H.? Mother Superior left the keys to the cellar on the kitchen table again? Heheh - posting in the wrong thread indeed Hope you had a good sleep and that the monasterial hangover is not too bad this merry morning. Good to see Shawky has kept the Hall of Fame named after its founder too. A great idea and one that is still being followed with great interest. Bro Shawky - could you perhaps post each member's list of ten stocks, say, once a month, so that we can all benefit from seeing who is running the hot ones? The lists are fairly fluid with changes being made by many (not all, I know) and taking note of what stocks people are running can also be very educational. If that is a lot of work, don't worry about it, but if the lists are easy to copy-and-paste then I for one would be very interested in them. Thanks mate

Hilarius My I make a simple suggestion? If you run a similar bank balance to mine, you won't give a **** (i.e. waste product of a trans-rectal tonsillectomy) what the banks do with it. The answer is simple, if your account balance is in the black, fix it...I like red, with that nice big minus sign in front. Rederob Gotta watch them there bandicoots. Could be worse, you could have Nightstalker coming up your rear! Nightstalker There is no way I'm letting you and that medico gadget get any closer to me, I'll just have to jump into the lead somehow. I'll have to check my auto stops for last week and see if any actually got hit - I've been slack and just did the data update this week. Looks like a few of my stocks are rubbing up against my profit stops. regards Shawky

Morning Bro Shawky I found my bit of paper at work with my list of ten - and I didn't have either ALL or SNN on there. But I did have a couple of others that need to be changed, if you could please. Sell SLT @ 0.52 and Buy BSA @ 0.44 Sell HPX @ 1.79 and Buy PDN @ 0.51 Many thanks oh keeper of the spreadsheet. Any thoughts on that suggestion above re posting everybody's current lists of ten, say, monthly? Could learn from those - I tend to forget my own, let alone everybody else's! If it's tricky, don't worry, but if it's just a copy-and-paste job, then that would be useful. And the trans-rectal tonsillectomy instrument hasn't been christened yet - I'm waiting for someone to insult me first, then REVENGE is mine...... Actually - it lends a whole new meaning to the line in my sig... heheh (Message edited by nightstalker on October 20, 2004)

Surely SLT sold yesterday (19th) and BSA also bought yesterday. HPX sold day before (18th) and PDN bought last Friday 15th My sell order for HPX was actually placed on Friday, but missed out by 1 cent, being fulfilled on Monday.

Hi NightStalker, I thought that we were restricted to buy/sell as at Friday's close for this exercise. Do you have a cash position, or are you using the yet to be advised Hilarious Bridging Finance Loan facility that allows you to buy a replacement share before selling an existing share? Cheers, Mosaic

Hmm - I didn't realize that the Friday thing was a restriction, just a suggestion for those trading paper portfolios. Mine are all real holdings, and those dates are when the trades occurred. They can be adjusted to last Friday if you wish, but you'll need to look up the prices - say Friday's closes. I'm at work at the moment - I can look it up tonight if you want. And yes - I maintain a cash position of about 10% most of the time, to allow me to take advantage of opportunities without having to sell off something else at a less-than-optimal price.
