It happened in a parallel universe Emperor, good job we weren't in it ! If you happen to pass through my old home town St. Albans, drop into "The Old Cock Inn" oldest pub in England, your Legions built all the roads there, and Lake Verulanium. Glad to see you survived ! Lovely to see you landed safely dear Emperor, don't forget to take that romantic dinner for two, preference will be given to any place without the haunting of ghosts and the rattling of chains. Other than that enjoy yourselves.. Julles

Dear Citizens Chance and Julles and all other folk in the Forum Thanks for your kind words. Lady Claudia is busy photographing countless flower beds ... possibly preparing for her planned new career as colour consultant to Wattyl We are indeed planning some nights with friends in St Albans and as you know your Emperor is irresistibly drawn to alcoholic outlets ... but the oldest in England sounds like a very good justification On a serious note Bradford and Bingley Bank dropped today after rising strongly yesterday ... your Emperor will try to chart this stock at the weekend to see whether an entry presents itself ... but still the bears in his American subscription service are troubling your poor impoverished Emperor who depends on pocket money from dear Lady Claudia She took him for a romantic cruise on the Norfolk Broads ... Julles please let know Captain Charles that Claudius actually travelled on water ... but even flat water induces nausea after too many grapes [American readers please note that Norfolk Broads are not what you think] Blessings and Peace to all my dear flock Claudius

Yo Emperor dude, the eight legged on is pleased that you have arrived safely in your distant colony. Watch out for big ladies in chariots. Boada something I think. The brits thought she was cool. Mrs spider is back from Europe and sends lady Claudia her best. Chance, spider spent his first four working years in the Australian St Albans (somewhat different from yours I would bet). Four of the best years of my life (ahh the enthusiasm and optimism of youth).
