Would it be at all possible to have colour coded volume - red for down days and blue/green for up days - makes the charts a lot more user friendly.}

Jules Red volume bar if closing price lower than yesterday; Blue if closing price is higher than yesterday. If closing price is equal to yesterday, yesterday's color is used. I will add this to our To Do list. Colin

Yes please! This would be a great thing to have. I'd like to be able to see colour coded volume at the same time as viewing my price chart in candle form. cheers Penny

I realise this isn't what your asking for, but in case anyone hasn't stumbled upon Equivolume charts yet, these are a great way to visualise Volume/Price and Up/down. Kai

Hey Colin, How far down the list is the color coded volume indicators? These would be extremely helpful in detecting important volume trends at a glance! Given recent changes this would be about the only other thing on my wishlist. dbergman

dbergman, It is a very long To Do list. Priorities at the moment are to add US intra-day, UK, Canada and forex charts. Then we will tackle the long-promised stock screen upgrade before starting on the indicators. The last in our series of upgrades to improve ease-of-use should be completed in a few days. Regards Colin

Hi All One thing I find frustrating when looking at the volume indicator is that when a huge volume day occurs it makes the rest of the volume days look insignificant and impossible to see a trend until the huge volume day exits to the left of the screen. The attached charts show the difference with the huge volume day off the screen. I have seen elsewhere, volume trends that change colour and have a different scale on these huge volume days allowing you to continue to see relevent changes in the volume at a smaller scale. Is there a better way of changing/displaying the scale on IC volume indicators that gets around this problem?

Apple We had discussed a solution to this, using log scales, earlier on the forum. We have that on our To Do list. We will tackle the list in earnest when US and forex intra-day updates are completed. Regards Colin
