It is advisable to backup your watchlists and project files on a regular basis. Select all watchlists (.viz) and project files (.ini) using File >> Export Files/ Import Files on the main menu. Ignore the folders - they merely contain Undo/Redo records. Colin

Good idea, tried to to do this, but am obviously not computer literate enough. Could someone please explain, in step by step instructions and small words how to do this, as I think I will have a hissy fit if I lose all my watchlists ! TIA Chance

Chance Assuming that you have a CD-RW disk in drive D: (1) Open IC (2) Select File >> Export Files from the main menu (3) Select all .viz and .ini files (ignore any folders) using your mouse and the shift key (4) Click Open (5) Select your cd-drive d: from the folder list and click OK. The files are may be too big for a floppy disk, but try this if you do not have a cd-burner or zip drive. Colin

Colin, Yes, drive D is a cd-burner. I get 90% of the way there, but when I select drive D from the folder list, click ok , it comes up with .... WARNING Directory "D:\" not found. Operation cancelled. Will have another look at it at the weekend, maybe use the roxio Easy CD creator software to do the job. Another learning experience coming up ! Regards Chance

Chance InCD is better if you have it - it allows you to write to a R/W disk in the same way as you write to a floppy disk. If not, you may have to export to your desktop and then use EasyCD to copy to the CD from there. Colin

Colin, Am now backed up, ta! Exporting to desktop and then copying to the CD writer worked ok, if a little tedious, esp when I somehow created multiple copies, and when I tried to delete those copies I created even more copies! Sorted it eventually... The Backup used 37MB of a 700MB disc. Will try to find a copy of InCD. Thanks Chance
