Set your time period to 1 year. You'll need to then scroll back so the right hand edge is at Oct 2001, and then you should be viewing Oct 2000 to Oct 2001. Welcome to Incredible Charts.

Hi Davkell, Thanks for the reply. I am trying to analyze Ebay stock during the period of Oct 2000 to Oct 2001. The data that I have from, Yahoo Historical prices for this security and from a tutorial, shows that during the period of early April 2001 to July 2001 the price of the stock rose from mid 30 to mid 50 area. However when I see the same date range in ICs the price of Ebay stock does not say anything about mid 30s or Mid 50s. Am I doing some mistake. Pls help.

Not sure about the price range.
Are you sure you've got the right data period from Yahoo? Hopefully Colin will see this thread and address the issue for you, I have no idea why their would be a price difference. Ebay hit the 30-50 range later on, more in the 04-06 time period. Cheers.

See this text from investopedia and the chart for ebay. http://www.investopedia.com/images/articles/techanalysis/eBay.gif Text from Investpedia: In the above chart of eBay, a number of clear buying opportunities presented themselves over the spring and summer months of 2001. There are also a number of sell indicators that would have drawn the attention of short-term traders. The strong buy signal in early April would have given both investors and traders a great 12-day run, ranging from the mid $30.00 area to the mid $50.00 area. The current run in the stock started with a strong buy signal just two weeks ago. Although the buy signal appears to have been a false start, it has confirmed that, even in these tough market conditions for the Internet stocks, more new money is coming into eBay.
