Ref : MCL -- MCLO

What am I missing here ????

MCL atm is trading around .040c

MCLO ex Feb 2010 @ .20c -- keeps coming in with new buyers @ .010c.

At .20c isn't that saying that by Feb 2010 MCL would have to be at least .22c ??

Would it not be more profitable to simply buy MCL @ .040 -- if you thought it was going to >0.20 by that time ??

Thanks for any replies
cheers

Option traders would not hold on to expiry. There is plenty of time left and a 0.01(+25%) rise in the share price might see the option also rise by 0.01(+100%). A big difference in percentage terms.

The real trick is selling the options at a higher price before the time runs out.
