G'day
Would someone please point me to where I can see online a list of ASX companies which offer option trading and the relative figures ie share price/strike/etc.
TIA

Zorba, if you go to the ASX site, the third top button along with the $ sign on can take you to the Options page. However, I just had a look and cant actually find a list of Optionable shares. I do know that you should not trade ones with low volume / open interest as they can be terribly difficult to get out of. The blue chips are the most popular ones, so you just key in their code and you can pull up a list of the strike prices etc. Rivkinstockbroking.com.au would also help you, but the website wont come up, so not sure what is happening there.
Best of luck, Lulu

Zorba

The links below will take you:

(1) directly to the list of optionable shares and

(2) a link to a rather large spreadsheet with ALL option stocks and series on it (takes sometime to download) or

(3) alternately you can input the stock code on the webpage and get each stock option series individually

Also very handy is a link to the list of options stocks with upcoming dividend dates - something you should ALWAYS be aware of.

Zorba

I know that it is probably not what you are really looking for but the Monday edition of the Financial Review gives a good hardcopy overview of the closing positions of all options for the previous week's close.
