The emails may purport to come from reliable sources. It would be prudent to scan all attachments received via email - even where the sender appears to be Incredible Charts .

The SITE SEARCH facility now includes results from the Forum. This allows one more leeway in fine tuning search results. read the "Search Tips" page to make use of the advanced search options. Add the word "forum" to your search phrase to get results mainly from the forum.
The FORUM SEARCH remains in place for dedicated searching of the forum.

The options previously on the forum left-menu have been moved to the grey table at the top of each forum page.
If you experience any difficulties on a forum page, you can direct us to these pages with the "Send to a Friend" option at the top of the page.
"Send to a Friend" now directs the recipient to a specific page in the forum, rather than just the forum entry page.
The maximum posting size has increased to 10 Kb and image attachments to 15 Kb.

Some suggested ground rules for Stocks and related topics:
1) Try to limit your submissions to one or two stocks and don't post your whole watchlist;
2) Identify the time frame as:
(a) short (10 days or less),
(b) intermediate/medium term (2 weeks to 3 months), or
(c) long (more than 3 months);
3) Identify bullish/ bearish stock signals;
4) Avoid making recommendations like "buy this stock" or statements like "this is bound to go up 50% in the next 10 days"; and
5) Don't take conflicting views as personal criticism (never invest with your ego).
Some topics are intended to help investors test their analytical skills by measuring their analysis against the views of other traders.
Visitors should not interpret any of the content as a securities recommendation and should not use this forum as a substitute for investment advice from a qualified financial advisor.
We remind visitors of their undertaking regarding General Advice under the Terms of Use of this site.

Members are now able to use a Spell Checker on their postings. The Spell Checker should be on already for all members - the checkbox option can be checked via one's profile if necessary.
Please let us know if the Spell Checker highlights words which it should not. It's just a matter of adding such words to the dictionary used.

Forum Rules

Forum Rules: Further explanation
Objective:
Our aim is to protect members from market professionals who recommend services or talk up stocks without disclosing their interest.
Excluded:
If a Member owns/controls a company, trust or super that invests or trades in stocks/options solely for their own benefit, this would not be interpreted as a "commercial venture" and no disclosure is necessary.
