What is the point of having the Overseas/US Data arriving at my desktop ~ mid-day during the week in OZ?
This seems to me to be a very lazy approach to simple Data everyone on the ASX needs WELL before the open in Daylight hours!!
If this site is to be known as Incredible Charts then the US Data needs to be at least timely in the first instance for Australian's to use/derive benefit on the ASX!

PS It seems like MADNESS to me to have these O/S figures/Data updating at~ Mid-Day during the week!

For Example
At least we in Oz can now assume that Aluminum will open lower on Monday based on Friday nights move in the US
We can now also bet that Gold shares will open Low based on Friday nights move on Wall St
We can also see the Base Metals/Industrial Metals retreat on the Friday Night on Wall St
However amongst all this doom and gloom there are Oil and Nickel to keep us afloat??

This Captain has never been the sharpest knife in the drawer

Making decisions in the heat of the day's battle is Madness and mistakes always happen
This ~4 hour US Delayed Data is of NO use to me!
Is it of any use to anyone else or is it just me?

If you are a short-term trader then the US move in a commodity has a large impact on your related position.
If you are a long-term trader in The Reject Shop then any single day move in the DOW has no bearing.
I think IC would be a lot more expensive if we asked for all these immediate data services. IC has found a nice niche of combining cheap access with the EOD data timeframe. If they switched to faster delivery they will raise the price and then we could all just switch to any of the other $1000/year products out there.

We have had a few delays with the intra-day US data feed, but have now identified the problem and hope to be able to offer 15-minute delayed US equities data by the end of next month.

You will never become everything to everyone
At least in my life time anyway at the rate you have progressed over the last 3-4 years
As I see it you have 3 areas to deal with/improve and conquer and in order
1 Data
2 Scans/Screenings
3 Charting Package
Data is Everything to me (EOD Data) and I think it could be the Easiest of All to fix/conquer
I feel Intra-day will be good ONEDAY
but I think that your main aim should be to be able to write up your own Trading Diary Using IC Charts
(exclusively)

As a Sailor of the Global Exchange I don't need EVERYTHING/All the DATA
But I would like to select the "Data" I download
Most of the Listed below don't fit in with my life style but "Others Are a Must Have"
Maybe instead of trying to be Everything to Everyone Let each person purchase there own Data that is not already covered by IC
EG Officer OHK could download his beloved Vienna Exchange if he wishes
EG Our dear Friar could download the last remnant of the British Empire ie: The LME
EG The Captain could download a little bit of This and a little bit of That
The choices are endless

I agree with you but the data providers are just as stupid as the cable companies. I don't want packs for $400/year where I may use only 10% of a pack. Why list all of the exchanges separately if you are forced to buy a bunch of them to get one?
I want:
USA
Australia
Germany
where each component costs me $8/month. Nobody is offering this. It's like having to subscribe to Cinemax and Showtime if you just want HBO.
They have a custom package option but do you think they will quote me $30/month for the three items I want? It's going to be more like $100/month.
The only way to keep this down to earth rate of $8/month/exchange is if we have it fed to us through IC because they are using their customer base as bargaining chip to get such good rate.
