I use the "% Price Move" Stock Screen filter regularly.

Wondered if there was any hope of using it, or something similar, to determine the main movers of the last trading day.

The daily media focuses on just a very few stocks from the ASX 100, ie, Rio Tinto, BHP and the banks, and even then reports largely on price rather than '%'.

I use comsec pro(1) it provides a market movers screen which updates in real time. Giving the top 20 stocks I find this plenty to work with. It does not discriminate between top 100 etc but lists all stocks.

There are 4 views you can use %gain, %decrease, Value and volume.

Hello Litt.

Yahoo Aust. Finance also has a freeby volume gainers and % gainers page.I think about half hour or 20 minutes delayed for i/day updates but good for EOD....Nothing below 10 cents though..... Cheers.
